The following estimates the cost of completing the our undergraduate degree level programs, including tuition and other expenses.

For your convenience, you may make payments online using a credit/debit card or by Bank Transfer. We are currently accepting Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover credit/debit cards. Financing your degree is an investment in your future, and we’re here to guide you through the process. Our Finance department went to great lengths to ensure that the program is priced as low as possible.

Tuition for the online degrees at the University of Zambia is charged per semester based on the student's admission status. Effective September 2016, qualified students can enroll in our payment plans.

Can I apply If I am not a Zambian National?

Our 100% online program is open to everyone, regardless of your country of origin or residence.

Will my degree certificate indicate that I studied online?

The online programs offered are of the same high-quality, accredited education expected from the University of Zambia. The online degree certificates will be identical to those received by student studying on campus.

Will I ever need to travel to Zambia throughout the course of my study?

The 100% online programs are designed for working adults with busy schedules. You will never be required to travel to Zambia; unless you wish to attend your graduation ceremony.

What are the admissions requirements?

To qualify for admissions, you must have 30 O'levels (GCE) or its international equivalent.

What payment method can I use to pay my fees

Students and applicants can pay fees using either Bank Transfers or Credit/Debit Cards.

How do I get my graduation documents after completing the program?

Student who are qualified to graduate will receive their documents via FedEx or DHL. In addition, you can travel to Zambia to attend a traditional graduation ceremony and receive your documents.

Admission Requirements

  • Send Official academic record(s)
  • Scan copy of Passport or NRC
  • Pay application fee: $50 USD or 400 ZMK


Graduation Requirements

To be qualified for graduation, students must have a 2.0 GPA on all work attempted. Students must apply for candidacy to graduate if they fulfill the grade requirements and have completed all the required courses for the Program. If the student makes a “D” or “F” in a course, it must be retaken.

The University of Zambia (UNZA) was established by Act of Parliament No. 66 of 1965. The first intake of students took place on 17th March 1966. The motto of the University, SERVICE AND EXCELLENCE has guided the development of the University since its inception.

UNZA is situated in Lusaka on two campuses. The main campus is the Great East Road Campus and it is situated on the Great East Road, 6km from the town centre. The other campus is the Ridgeway Campus catering for the Medical School. It is situated on John Mbita Road, 4km South East of Lusaka, opposite the University Teaching Hospital.
